A beautiful, cosy, relaxing cottage in the perfect location for exploring some fantastic hikes as well as Buxton and Bakewell. The shower was a little temperamental to start with but once we got the hang of it it was appreciated! The patio furniture was lovely for tea and cake in the sunshine and the fish and chip shop down the road was spot on. GrRead moreeat amenities which provided comfort and gorgeous walks right from the doorstep which was great for the dog. Thank you! Hide

Gorgeous cottage, had everything we needed for a long weekend away. It was very comfortable and clean. In a great area, we could easily drive to lots of different places to walk / visit. Would definitely stay again. Pub in the village is great too.

Had a lovely few days at gem cottage very authentic flag stone floor and stone steps need to be agile to get up stairs but the climb is worth it the bed is wonderfully comfy. The log burner was great as it was very cold out would recommend this cottage for nice quiet break!

The cottage has lots of character, colder downstairs in the colder months and some attention to the cleaning has been highlighted. We were offered a late checkout with no fee which was great from the hosts, dog biscuits provided although with 24hrs notice we were told no dogs on furniture or beds. The parking is round the back of the property! We oRead morenly figured this out on the last day and were parking on the road Hide
