Sun-soaked and scenic, this tranquil coastal cottage invites couples and their four-pawed pals to experience a memory-making stay in spectacular Whitby. This terraced property is located on a quiet residential street, just a short distance from town, with the breathtaking Whitby Beach less than 1 mile away. Let Rover lead you through the town’s eclectic streets, taking in the pretty architecture, gothic features, and connections to Bram Stoker’s Dracula throughout. Two guests and two canine companions are welcome to get cosy and comfortable in this home-from-home at the end of each day, feeling instantly welcomed in this charming space.

Natural light floods the two-storey holiday home, and soft, neutral décor creates a calming atmosphere throughout. Put your best paw forward and step into the lounge, a lovely space with a handsome bay window and a feature fireplace. Sink into a comfy sofa with man’s best friend curled up at your heel and the Smart TV on. There’s another Smart TV in the dining room, and the kitchen completes the ground floor, just next door. Drag dog-tired bodies upstairs at the end of each day, discovering the king-size bedroom with a shower in one corner and the bathroom along the hall. Outside, a small yet enclosed courtyard offers somewhere to sit and sip coffee while pets stretch their legs.

Let Rover feel golden sands beneath their paws with a day at the beach. Whitby’s Tate Hill Beach is your go-to, pet-friendly all year round. From here, let your pup drag you all the way up the town’s 199 steps to take in the view from Whitby Abbey (1 mile). Come rain or shine, long, rewarding walks along the North Yorkshire coastal path will appeal to pets of all shapes and sizes. Follow the Cleveland Way down to the famous smuggler’s village of Robin Hood’s Bay (5.5 miles) and onwards to Ravenscar (9 miles).

A pleasant house, well equipped and clean, with good access to the town. We were able to park our car nearby (on street) which was welcome. A handy 'Railway Chippy' just a few streets away with good quality meals to take out.

A well appointed property in excellent decorative order, clean and fresh. The property has been modernised to a very high standard, is spacious and furnished with very good quality furniture. We stayed in March when, for part of the week, the weather was very cold but the property was warm and comfortable. The location is excellent with the centRead morere of Whitby a short walk away. Street parking is available although, at the weekends, we found there was competition for parking spaces. Hide

Nicely presented Stairs steep and narrow Needs a downstairs toilet I would recommend the property but it is up a very steep bank, and is at the back of coop/ railway, you need to be active, quiet area, good chipshop
