Enjoying magnificent views across St Brides Bay and boasting a footpath from the doorstep towards Newgale Beach, this family-friendly coastal getaway offers six keen outdoor explorers the perfect base to explore West Wales with their canine companion. Pup will love to let off some steam in the generous, enclosed garden.

Boasting sophisticated Shaker-style units, the galley-style kitchen provides everything you need to whip up something delicious to tame the growl of hungry tummies. Lead the way through to the spacious lounge/diner with a magnificent picture window that frames fetching views towards the beach and an impressive, vaulted ceiling that creates a welcome sense of space; there’s a special spot reserved for your pup beside the roaring wood burner. When it’s time to pause from chasing your tail, you have a choice of three delightful bedrooms to retire to, one en-suite king-size with French doors leading to a charming sunroom, one king-size with far-reaching sea views and one double to choose from. Soothe weary walking muscles by slipping into the hot tub on the front patio before retiring to the summerhouse in the enclosed rear garden which features a large lawn, perfect for four-legged friends.

Situated in the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park, the coastal village of Newgale is home to a glorious golden 2-mile sandy stretch (seasonal restrictions apply) that your canine companion will go mutts for; there’s a scenic footpath down to the beach (0.5 miles) from the doorstep. The Pembrokeshire Coast Path passes through Newgale and provides some tail-wagging long walks through the national park with breathtaking sea views and lots of existing new smells to enjoy. Known as Britain’s smallest city, take the lead to the quaint and charming St Davids, 8 miles away, to explore the heart of this region.
