Cosy and quaint, this homely cottage in Mumbles a stick’s throw from the gloriously golden South Wales seaside is the perfect base for couples and families keen to answer the call of the coast. Sleeping four guests and welcoming a canine pal, enjoy sea views from the roof terrace.

At the end of a long walkies, warm chilly toes beside the rustic wood burner in the open-plan lounge/diner that offers plenty of space for you to unwind weary walking muscles as your top dog takes a well-deserved doze at your feet; the soothing neutral colour palette sets the scene for pure relaxation. Take the lead to the adjoining kitchen to tame the growl of hungry tummies by rustling up some tasty treats with your wonderful new local flavours. Head upstairs to wash off a day on the local trails in the contemporary family bathroom before retiring to the king-size or bunk bedroom (a single over a double) which both share the same charm and character as the ground floor. Accessed via a steep set of wooden steps from the kitchen, lose yourself in tail-wagging sea views of the bay from the comfort of the enclosed roof terrace.

Cottage is very small and on the darker side, but well equipped and clean. There was no wood left for us to use and we booked that because it had a log burner and couldnt find any wood locally. On a very steep hill with no garden so feel it is very over priced unfortunately.
