A white-washed countryside hideaway, this Pembrokeshire retreat offers seclusion, serenity, and plenty of space for your whole pack. This cosy Welsh cottage is ideal for a large family getaway or even two families holidaying together, where tail-wagging companions are invited to join the fun. Whether you’re soaking up the sun on the patio in summer or curling up by the wood burner on crisp autumn evenings, this is a year-round escape that both humans and canine chums will love.
The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the heart of the home, where everyone can gather after long days of adventure. Light the wood burner, flop onto the sofas, and let your pup pal snooze by the fire. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need to whip up meals and gather the whole gang around the table to share hearty feasts. Also on the ground floor is a handy utility area, a family shower room, and a snug. The sofa bed in the snug offers flexible sleeping arrangements if needed. When it’s time to turn in, head upstairs to find three lovely bedrooms: a double room, a twin with zip-and-link beds (which can be made into a super-king on request), and a triple room with bunk beds and a single bed. There’s also a family bathroom with a double-ended bath and a separate shower. Outside, the sunny patio is a beautiful spot to enjoy morning coffee or al fresco dinners while you soak up the sweeping countryside views. There’s also private parking for four cars.
Lace up your walking boots and head out on tail-wagging walks straight from the front door. Fancy a beach day? Head to Pwllgwaelod (13 miles) or Newgale (15.5 miles), both perfect for sandy paws and salty noses with dog-friendly zones. A trip to Tenby (23.5 miles) is another great day out, with beaches, seaside charm, and plenty of pup-friendly spots for lunch. Closer to home, Scolton Manor (6 miles) has lovely grounds, a Victorian manor house and a walled garden for pups on the lead to explore.
