Explore the magnificent North Yorkshire Heritage Coast from this dog-friendly apartment in Whitby. Sleeping four guests, the two-bedroom hideaway sits on the first floor of a handsome, red-brick building opposite Pannett Park. From your lovely retreat, amble just 0.5 miles with your happy hound to Tate Hill Beach, where he can splash in the shallows without restriction.
Follow your canine companion up the steps to the front door and then on up again to the first floor. Wander in to find accommodation with a sumptuous style and ample space for everyone to unwind. Let your lucky Labrador or cute cockapoo find himself a quiet corner while you all sink back onto the sofa to discuss your day. Make a cup of strong tea to enjoy with a slice of Yorkshire parkin as you watch the Smart TV. Rustle up doggy dinners and delicious feasts for everyone else over in the kitchen area then gather at the long table to dine. Leave your exhausted pet to sleep in the main living area and head through to one of the lovely double bedrooms to enjoy your own superb sleep. One of these bedrooms has doors to a Juliet balcony that can be opened wide on hot summer days. There is a chic family shower room for guests to share. Although this apartment has no outside space, the Little Park section of Pannett Park opposite is a great place to take your pup for a stroll. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.
For longer walks attempt a section of the Cleveland Way. Take in the fabulous sweeping seascapes with your four-legged friend by your side as you walk the 7 miles between Whitby and Robin Hood’s Bay. Venture out into the North York Moors National Park to find dramatic, inland footpaths.
