This attractive stone property is in the charming village of Kingsbarns, in the East Neuk area of Fife. Sleeping six guests and two furry pals, the spacious holiday home is perfect for large families and groups of friends. Located less than 1 mile from Fife’s east coast, you’ll be perfectly placed for days at the beach and wild and windy dog walks along the Fife Coastal Path. In the evenings, enjoy family BBQs in the enclosed garden.

The converted farm building is warm and inviting, with elegant furniture, homely accessories, and a delicate coastal theme running through each room. Leave coats and dog leads in the hallway, before heading through to the lounge/diner, where a large window frames tranquil views of the garden. Spend time here, after a walk with the dogs, catching up on your favourite programmes on the Smart TV as you warm your toes by the cosy wood burner. To the rear of the room is a striking dining table for hosting dinner parties and special occasions. From here, a door leads through to the separate kitchen, where you’ll discover everything needed to prepare delicious feasts for the group. A seaside-themed twin bedroom with a delightful window seat, plus a separate WC, complete the ground floor. The remaining bedrooms, along with a family shower room, are upstairs (the king-size has an adjustable electric bed). Outside, relax in the sunshine in the attractive, enclosed garden, where you’ll find grassed areas for the pups to play on, and furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. There is a private carport for one car, and on-street parking nearby, subject to availability.

Kingsbarns is home to the magnificent Cambo Estate. Here, you and your waggy-tailed chums can explore the stunning walled garden and stroll through the ancient woodlands, before heading down to the sandy beach to paddle in the sea. The estate also has a popular, paw-friendly cafe. Further afield, enjoy a doggy day out to the historic town of St Andrews to wander along its medieval streets, admire the world-famous university, amble along the beach, or play a round of golf at one of the iconic courses.

This is a very spacious cottage with a good living/dining space and a well equipped kitchen. There is lovely sunny and private back courtyard with BBQ. The Kingsbarns Inn is just around the corner where we had an excellent meal. We were a party of 3 adults which was fine as there is only one shower. It would be suitable for a family group but I thRead moreink 6 adults would struggle to live in it for a week. Overall it's a good value for money cottage ideally situated for exploring the area.
