Explore the beautiful landscapes of Mid Wales with your happy hound at your heel. This two-bedroom, stone cottage at Pentre-bach, 3 miles from Sennybridge, sleeps four guests and is ideal for pets. It has a lawned garden for your four-legged friend to enjoy and a wood burner where he can warm his soft fur after long walks on autumn and winter days.

Wipe muddy paws in the porch then make your way into the kitchen/diner to top up your chum’s food and water bowls and put the kettle on for everyone else to have a cup of tea at the breakfast table. This room is well-equipped with everything you will need to help you prepare holiday feasts for your friends or family. A useful utility room and a WC are also here. Gather in the lounge/diner to unwind in the evening with your favourite people and pooch. Watch the Smart TV, with a fire roaring in the wood burner or the doors to the garden open, depending on the time of year. Give your chum a final stroke before bed then take yourself off to the first floor. Here you will find two double bedrooms and the family bathroom. Take your furry friend out to bound around the enclosed lawn in the morning. Open a bottle of wine and light the BBQ on fine evenings as he keeps you company. There is parking available for two cars.

Put a handful of dog treats in your pocket and wander straight off from the cottage on scenic dog walks with your pawsome pal. Venture 2 miles to beautiful Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons. Visit picturesque Fforest Fawr Geopark, 12 miles away, where there are also lots of great dog walks.

We had a lovely stay at the cottage. Location is handy for lots of attractions in the area. Very comfortable and well appointed cottage. Great shower. Very well equipped kitchen including items like salt, pepper, cooking oil, sugar, some tea bags. Underfloor heating which meant it was kept very warm (there in the winter) and we did not need the wRead moreood burner. Lovely welcome pack when we arrived. The surrounding lanes are very narrow with high hedges so need to be careful if you have to take your dog for a walk. Nowhere to let a dog off lead (big sheep area which we knew it would be). Dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture. Hide
