Roam the rolling Welsh hills and mountains with Rex before returning to relax at this gorgeous cottage. Sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom, dog-friendly retreat is situated at Pentre-bach, 2 miles from the fringes of Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons, and 11 miles from Brecon itself. With an abundance of character, a wood burner and a large garden, there is plenty here for hounds and humans to enjoy.
Follow your furry friend inside to find fabulous features such as exposed stone walls and beamed ceilings. Enter the friendly kitchen/diner, via the side door and reward your cheerful chum with brimming bowls of food and water. Put the kettle on and make the rest of the group a cup of tea. Prepare tasty holiday meals here to serve around the farmhouse table. Spend cosy evenings together in the lounge or the snug watching the Smart TV in either room; let your contented canine warm himself in the lovely glow of the wood burner in the main lounge. A family bathroom and a separate WC are also downstairs. Leave your furry friend behind you to enjoy his own superb sleep and head up to the bedrooms on the first floor. These include a king-size room, a twin and a bunk bedroom. A family shower room completes the internal layout. Take your pal outside to play in the beautiful garden on sunny days. Let him paddle in the stream - supervising him and any children at all times. Open a bottle of wine and cook on the BBQ on summer evenings. There is parking here for three cars.
Take your pup for long hikes through the magnificent Fforest Fawr Geopark, 12 miles away. Llangorse Lake, 18 miles away, also makes a great day out with its variety of dog walks.
