Heading north, you’ll soon reach the colourful seaside town of Aberaeron (16 miles). Spend time exploring the town’s fabulous boutiques and galleries, before ambling down to the paw-friendly pebble beach. There are some excellent woof-welcoming attractions in the area, including the National Trust’s Dolaucothi Gold Mines (9 miles) and the sprawling parkland at Dinefwr Castle (15 miles).
