Roam beautiful hills and wander picturesque valleys when you stay at this pet-friendly holiday home in Brecon. Sleeping eight guests, the four-bedroom, three-storey cottage is an ideal base for exploring Bannau Brycheiniog, also known as the Brecon Beacons National Park. With a wood burner for winter and enclosed patio for summer, it makes an excellent choice whatever the season.
Return to the property after your long walks to dry damp fur and enjoy some quality canine time together. Head into the colourful lounge to relax on the inviting, velvet seating while your exhausted chum stretches out on the soft carpet. Play a family game, watch the Smart TV and enjoy the warm glow of the wood burner during the autumn and winter months. The younger members of the party might also enjoy a tournament or two through in the game room. When puppy eyes start pleading for dinner, usher your four-legged friend through to the generous kitchen/diner. Feed him in here and find everything you need to help you whip up tasty plates for everyone else to sit down to at the large table. There is also a WC downstairs. Settle your contented canine in his bed for the night and make your way up to the upper levels, where the bedrooms and bathrooms are located. Two double bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower, are on the first floor, together with the family bathroom which has a freestanding bath. Another double and a twin are on the second floor. Take your chum to walk beside the river on fine mornings then return for coffee on the patio. Parking is on the street, subject to availability.
Stretch furry legs with long walks beside the canal, which begins just 350 metres away. Llangorse Lake, 6.5 miles away, is another excellent, dog-friendly destination.
