The main property is Grade II-listed and is bursting with period features complemented by antique-style furniture and a fabulous collection of artworks. Enter the retreat via the boot room, where you can leave all your gear before heading through to the vast lounge/diner with its two seating areas, cosy wood burners, banquet-style dining table, and Smart TV. The light and airy kitchen has everything needed to cater for a large group, and leads through to a conservatory-style, informal dining area overlooking the courtyard. Completing the ground floor is a super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room, as well as a separate family shower room. Upstairs, a further four super-king-size bedrooms await, two of which have en-suite shower rooms. A family bathroom with a roll-top bath rounds off the first floor. The separate cottage sleeps a further two guests and boasts an open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner. The cottage has a beautiful super-king-size bedroom with an en-suite shower room. Outside, unwind in the Mediterranean courtyard, where you’ll discover a choice of seating areas for al fresco dining, along with a BBQ and fire pit. Beyond the courtyard is a large, enclosed lawn where the pups can play. Private parking is available for three cars.
For a day at the coast, journey 6 miles north to Wells-next-the-Sea. This sandy beach welcomes four-pawed visitors all year and provides access to the stunning Norfolk Coast Path. Alternatively, spend a relaxing afternoon exploring the sprawling estate at Holkham Hall (6 miles).
