Explore the wild beauty of northern Scotland with your faithful wee friend by your side. This gorgeous, secluded cottage is the perfect place to take a pup who loves the great outdoors. Sleeping four human guests, the two-bedroom sanctuary nestles in glorious Highlands scenery, 10 miles from Ardgay and 15 miles from Lairg.
Tear yourselves away from the panoramic views over the Kyle of Sutherland to enter this stone retreat. Follow your furry friend into the lounge. Light a fire in the wood burner, find your favourite show on the Smart TV and let him stretch out on the soft rug. The kitchen/diner is also a paw-fect place for pets and people. Stoke up the wood burner in here too, feed your hungry chum and whip up a tasty meal for everyone else to enjoy at the table. Settle your contented canine for the night before making your way up to the first floor of the cottage to savour your own tranquil night’s sleep. Here you will find a lovely double bedroom and an inviting twin, each with a vaulted ceiling. The landing makes a great additional relaxation space. Treat yourself to a long, hot soak in the freestanding bath before bed. This cottage also features an external utility room/snug, with extra comfortable seating. Take your pet out for a long run in the morning then enjoy coffee on the patio as you take in the views. There is private parking here for two cars.
Step straight out from the cottage to find fabulous walking routes. Venture 7.5 miles to follow the picturesque Raven’s Rock Gorge Walk and Nature Trail with your happy hound at your heel. Plan a day trip to Dornoch Beach, 25 miles away, where he can leave paw prints on the golden sand all year round.
