Enjoy doggy days out to the Gower Peninsula (16 miles) or the charming seaside village of Mumbles (15 miles).

The chateau-style country retreat exudes elegance and grandeur, with high ceilings, antique furniture, and a fine array of luxurious fixtures. Step through the grand, oak door and into the vestibule, where you can store all your outdoor attire. From here, move through to bespoke kitchen, which features a beautiful roof lantern, informal dining table, and all the equipment needed to cater for a large group. Glass doors from the dining area open onto the indoor, heated swimming pool. The property also has an elegant lounge, formal dining room, a drawing room, a wine cellar, and a secret door leading to a well-stocked library. The social hub of the house is a vast games room/bar area, with ample seating and doors opening onto the garden. Please note, this is the only part of the main house where dogs are permitted. The main property’s nine bedrooms are arranged across the first and second floors. Four of the bedrooms have en-suite facilities, and there are also two family bathrooms. For larger groups, it’s possible to book two additional rooms in the woof-welcoming cottage within the grounds. This property has a cosy lounge with a wood burner, a fabulous kitchen, a conservatory, two comfortable bedrooms (a double and a twin), and a family bathroom. Outside, an impressive garden envelops the properties, featuring an Italianate garden, a lily pond, a domed folly, a tennis court, and furniture for al fresco dining. Enjoy walks with the hounds through the surrounding farmland and private woodland. Guests will also benefit from ample private parking.

You’ll be perfectly placed to explore the beautiful Gower Peninsula, where you’ll find many woof-welcoming beaches, such as Langland Bay (16 miles), Caswell Bay (17 miles), and the iconic Rhossili Bay (30 miles).

• 7 bathrooms – Main house has 4 en-suites, 2 family bathrooms, 2 WCs on ground floor; Garden cottage has 1 family bath with shower over the bath with WC, 1 WC downstairs
• Main house – 4 AGA ovens, 2 hot plates, countertop induction hob, 1 fan oven, American-style double fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine; Garden cottage – 2 Rangemaster electric ovens, microwave, fridge freezer
• Dining room to sit 23 in main house, dining room for 4 in cottage

• Dogs are allowed in the cottage and games room/bar only. Dogs are NOT permitted in the main house. Dogs must be on leads near surrounding fields that contain livestock.

• There is an Accidental Damage Deposit of £1000 when booking at this property, however this may be waived for £100. We’ll provide more details about this when booking your holiday
