Seabound pups will adore a stay on the Llyn Peninsula, enjoying long walks along wide, sandy beaches and the chance to splash about in North Wales’ bright blue waters. Just a short distance from Abersoch (1.5 miles), with the striking peaks of Snowdonia visible in the distance, this Welsh retreat is an enviable escape for all your loved ones – dogs included, of course. The spacious property sleeps up to ten guests and two dogs, making it ideal for long-awaited reunions and get-togethers with friends. Comfort is assured for man and dog alike, with plenty of thoughtful features throughout to give you a new leash of life during your stay.
Set over two storeys, the property offers five bedrooms, four bathrooms and two impressive lounge spaces – ensuring there’s ample room to unwind without always having a dog underfoot. On arrival, stop by the external shower to rinse off sandy wetsuits and muddy paws before heading inside. Underfloor heating runs throughout the ground floor, perfect for warming toes and paws, and there’s a wood burner in each lounge to snuggle up in front of. Alongside a large, enclosed garden, you’ll also find a first-floor balcony – a lovely spot to sit and take in the view, with a contented pup curled up by your side. You’ve got ample parking spots outside, and space to park boats or jet skis if that suits your needs.
The surrounding coast and countryside are entirely dog-approved, with ample walking routes, endless sticks to fetch, and plenty of wildlife to chase. In Abersoch, you can watch the boats bob in and out of the harbour or take part in one of the many sailing events. Head to Porth Neigwl (2.5 miles), where surfers flock when the swells are strong, and the sea is alive with thrashing waves.
