Head inside via the glass door to find yourselves in a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner – the social heart of the home where you can relax in comfort after coastal hikes and dips in the sea. Natural light streams through the dual-aspect windows and patio doors into the lounge area with ambient glowing lights, four-seater sofa and armchair. When you’re ready to settle in for the night, make your way to the bedrooms. The master bedroom features a king-size bed and an en-suite bathroom with a shower over the bath. The twin bedroom also benefits from its own en-suite, complete with a walk-in shower. Outside you’ll find an enclosed decking area with furniture. You’ll also have access to on-site facilities including a laundrette and a bar, as well as private parking for two cars.
During your stay on the outskirts of Gilfachreda village (0.5 miles), the seaside town of New Quay is just 2 miles away. Here you can walk along the harbour and sample some freshly caught seafood at independent eateries. Spend a tail-wagging day at the dog-friendly sand and shingle Cei Bach Beach (1.5 miles) or by the seafront waterfall at Tresaith Beach (13 miles). Pack a picnic and your dog treats for an afternoon at the lake, woodland trails and 18th-century estate of National Trust Llanerchaeron (7 miles). Also worth a visit is the dinky and tranquil village of Aberaeron (5.5 miles).
