Situated in the popular coastal resort of Westward Ho!, this charming bungalow offers fresh, light-filled accommodation for families, couples and friends keen to enjoy a peaceful break in a glorious corner of North Devon. Offering cosy accommodation for six guests, the characterful retreat has been beautifully furnished, with cheerful beach-themed decor, a lovely conservatory-style dining area and a generous garden. There’s also plenty of space for a pair of furry four-legged guests to tag along to explore the region’s glorious beaches and breathtaking countryside.

Entering the property, the boot room is perfect for leaving coats and drying wet pets before heading through to the sunny lounge, a generously sized room with a TV, ample seating, a desk area and a quiet reading nook. The sociable kitchen/diner is fully equipped, with plenty of storage and workspace, and a couple of steps leading up to the conservatory-style dining space. There’s a handy bathroom and three tastefully decorated bedrooms: one super-king-size, one super king-size with zip and link beds, with a step leading down to the twin room. From the dining area, glass doors lead out to the beautiful, enclosed back garden, providing a fantastic space for pets and their owners to unwind. This delightful multi-level space features plenty of outdoor furniture, a decked area, a pergola, an array of attractive coastal plants, a fire pit, BBQ and an outdoor tap for sandy paws. An additional unenclosed space is to the front, with a bistro table and chairs. Private parking is available on the driveway for two cars.

Westward Ho! is ideal for pets and their owners, with miles of glorious walks for your canine friend to enjoy along the North Devon National Landscape and the Hartland Heritage Coast. There are some lovely pet-friendly beaches at Instow and Peppercombe (both within 7 miles), and in the nearby Northam Burrows Country Park (0.5 miles).

We stayed here for 5 weeks, cottage has everything you need and is well presented. Weather didnt allow us to use it, but it has a super outdoor space, Gost was very helpful and fixed promptly a couple of small issues. Would highly recommend this property especially when weather improves as is ideally situated to tour the North Devon coast and its lRead moreocales Hide
