Watch the waves from the window seat in this coastal-themed apartment for a couple plus one canine companion with a terrace and elegant decor throughout. Stay in St Ives, just 150 metres from a beach with seafood restaurants and art galleries all around you. In the surrounding area of Cornwall, you can find quaint villages, secluded coves and scenic walking trails.

As you enter this ground-floor apartment into the lounge you’ll notice the high ceiling with chandelier lighting and wide window-seat views of the sea. There is an ornamental fireplace with tones of blue throughout the furnishings and décor, and a sofa bed to sleep two additional guests. Continue into the contemporary kitchen to find white cabinets and a sparkling granite worktop beside a round wooden dining table for two. Completing the interior is a shower room and a chic blue and pink king-size bedroom with a TV. Outside you’ll find a small courtyard garden with furniture. There is on-street parking and long-stay car parks in the town.

Settle into St Ives by wandering around the town’s narrow streets and harbourfront lined with ice cream parlours, boutiques and pasty shops. Take Fido for a splash at Porthminster Beach (150 metres) which is dog-friendly in the off-season. Hire a surfboard and catch some waves or hit the South West Coast Path from near Mans Head (1 mile) to The Merry Harvesters Stone Circle (2.5 miles). You could also check out the Barbara Hepworth Museum and Sculpture Garden or the Tate St Ives (0.5 miles). Head into the Cornwall National Landscape (within 0.5 miles) or spend a day at St Michael’s Mount (8.5 miles) – which you can access by boat or tidal causeway.

The view was wonderful, the apartment was comfortable and in good walking distance to the centre of St.Ives. It should be said, that a frequented road is right in front of the living room window so that there is together with the view always the sound of traffic. Nevertheless, the bedroom is completely quiet.

Good view of the bay and close to the train station. Bathroom is relatively new as is the kitchen which is great, washer/dryer was great, bed creaks and mattress quite firm, sofa bed could do with improvement but im being very picky, overall for the cost to value this is fantastic value for the location and space on offer and although the courtyardRead more is very small i will be reccomending to friends and family, great little spot Hide

In a good position a few hundred yards from town and just up the hill from the station entrance. Usually accessible from the station car park via steps opposite the flat, but please check this is the case before booking. Comfortable bed and seating and well equipped kitchen (just no dishwasher).
