Let your dog have its day with a stay in this chocolate-box cottage in Lincolnshire’s delectable countryside. Filled to the brim with charming farmhouse features, this pet-friendly cottage offers a fabulous place to escape for a smaller pack. Hosting three guests and one furry friend, the property is perfect for a couple seeking a bit of extra space or a family with their four-pawed guest of honour in tow. Spend your days exploring walking routes, footpaths, and beautiful scenery in the surrounding countryside, including around the delightful apple orchard at the bottom of your garden.

Set tails wagging as you step inside, feeling instantly welcome in this inviting home-from-home. The stone-flagged flooring in the lounge is convenient when returning from walks with wet-pawed pups. Also in here, find a cosy electrical fire that’ll keep toes (and paws!) warm on chilly days. A fully equipped kitchen completes the ground floor, and you’ll need to move upstairs to the first floor to find two snuggly bedrooms and a bathroom. Outside, the property comes into its own as a pet-friendly destination with a large lawned garden. This grassy space is enclosed, so Rover can run around freely while you relax.

Fill your mornings and afternoons with ball games and endless walks around the village of Old Bolingbroke, passing Bolingbroke Castle (0.5 miles) and heading to Snipe Dales (3 miles) via winding country roads. A little further, play games of fetch amidst the verdant beauty of the Lincolnshire Wolds (4 miles), or take your canine companion to the beach to run freely on the sand. Your nearest dog-friendly beach can be found just 16.5 miles away at Ingoldmells, on the outskirts of the seaside resort town of Skegness (15 miles).

What a wonderful home from home! Super homely, super cosy, wonderfully dog friendly. Lovely cottage with everything we needed, including a well fenced-off private garden for our lab. Plenty of workspace in kitchen to prepare a meal in, and decent seating space to relax in too! Very impressed, all round.

Clean, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Situated in a small, quiet village but with plenty to do in the area. We really enjoyed our stay.
