Bel-Nor-Cot could also be called paradise Our stay was incredible from start to finish. Weve traveled the world and can have pretty high standards which Bel Nor Cot met with no issue! Naomi and Jerry were available for questions and very responsive. We got to meet them on our last day and they are just the nicest hosts one could hope for! The cottaRead morege itself is incredible and really really well equipped. Everything works really well from the fridge to the freezer, lots of dishes, great TV, large and nicely renovated bathroom with both shower and bathtub. The bed was also super comfortable and the bedroom was quite large even with our suitcases stored in there. The outdoor space was also such a treat with a beautiful view on the sea and the coast from the terrasse, backyard and hot tub area! The wooden hot tub was incredible, it gets truly hot, this is a real hot tub with jets not just a soak in. The lounge chairs are also a nice addition, its really peaceful there, perfect to read a book or just relax with the sound of the waves at night! The location is equally incredible. There is a cafe right around the corner which also serves ice cream, which you might want coming back from the beach (open til 6pm). The beach is accessible through a large paved path and then stairs into the cliff. Its well maintained and fairly easy though a bit steep. Were both in our early thirties and had no problem going up and down in our sandals and even barefoot! It took us about 10minutes from the beach all the way up to the cottage so not bad at all. We loved that we could bring our young one year old cocker who had the best time! The left side of the beach is dog-friendly all day all year which is simply amazing. We went every day as it is right there and no need to drive! Our dog had the best time running and getting his 50000000 steps a day! The beach is made of thin sand and best enjoyed two hours around low tide. Views from down there are incredible too. All together, we had an incredible stay and would come back for sure! Hide

A fabulous place to stay. BEL-Nor-Cot is stunning and in a gorgeous location with a short walk to a dog friendly beach. The little coffee shop at the top had just started serving alcohol on a Friday and Saturday evening which was a perfect spot for a sundowner. Naomi and Jerry were super helpful and the scones, bread and other little extras were reRead moreally appreciated. From dog soap and towels to bath robes and picnic Hampers Bel-Nor-Cor had everything we needed! Just as a note the walk down to the beach is steep and there are some steps to navigate but it is worth the 10 minute trek as it is beautiful. Looe is a 25 min drive away and has lots of lovely bars and places to eat on the harbour, there is also another section of the beach that is dog friendly well worth a visit. We will definitely be back Hide

Bel Nor Cot is a very special accommodation in a unique location. This lovely chalet was a fabulous place to stay and we enjoyed our week stay in July. It is decorated beautifully throughout (photographs are accurate), with high quality fixtures and fittings including a very comfy bed, powerful shower, good size TV, wifi, plenty of cooking equipmenRead moret and superb enclosed garden (secure for the dog) with incredible sea views. It was so quiet in the evening it felt like we had the coast to ourselves. The area is fantastic, we took the water ferry to Plymouth and had a wonderful day in the Barbican area (lots of gluten free places to eat) and visited other lovely places to walk. The walk to and from the beach is steep, so you do need to have good mobility and a certain level of fitness and you are governed by tide times but once there it is sandy, not overcrowded (even in peak season) and a lovely place to walk, swim (shallow clear water) and relax. I would definitely recommend and hope to return. Hide

The cottage is completed at the highest standard, literally like moving home from home. Spectacular views. Hot tub is what you need after being out all day. If you are thinking to book this cottage then do not hesitate to book. It is well worth it. We like to explore different places but hopefully will return one day in the very near future
