Bursting with period touches that’ll certainly set tails wagging, boasting gorgeous ceiling beams and exposed brickwork, the cosy lounge/diner welcomes tired toes and paws to unwind at the end of a busy day’s adventure; your canine companion won’t be able to resist dozing on the flagstones beside the roaring wood burner. Outside, enjoy your morning coffee at sunrise or a glass of something chilled at sundown in the enclosed courtyard whilst little paws stretch their legs as your feet. There is off-road parking for two cars.

The cottage is in an ideal location to explore the Suffolk coast. As stated in other reviews it is situated on a quite busy road so there is some traffic noise but the cosy welcoming cottage is worth putting up with that. The milk, tea, coffee and biscuits were a welcome surprise. There isn't a freezer compartment in the fridge but we managed witRead morehout that. There is plentiful hot water and the shower is great, not always the case in a holiday cottage. The bed is comfortable and the bedroom is quite large. The bathroom is downstairs and the stairs are typical of an old property, quite steep but managable. Unfortunately one of the village pubs has closed and the other, The Crown, is not open at the beginning of the week. However, the pub at The Maltings, about a 10 minute walk away, is wecoming and has a comprehensive menu. Hide

The cottage is perfect for two people. It's cosy, comfortable and clean. We don't have Netflix or any other paid TV media but were able to use other TV chanels. The stairs are 'challenging'. They are steep and turn at the bottom and top. Anyone with disabilities might find them impossible. We didn't find the road noise a problem, but we live Read moreon a busy main road. Charming little cottage ideally situated for exploring Suffolk. Well equipped with almost everything we needed (missed having an iron!) and two pubs literally on the doorstep so no need to cook.
