You’ll also be 1 mile from the medieval town of Rye – and the opportunity to snap your pets on its iconic cobbled streets.
This semi-detached, single-storey home consists of bright, welcoming spaces with vaulted ceilings and exposed beams for plenty of rustic charm. Relax with fellow guests in the open-plan living area, keeping fur and feet warm by the wood burner and perhaps popping a film on. The well-equipped kitchen has everything you need for preparing home-cooked meals. When it’s time to turn in, you’ll have a king-size, a double and a twin bedroom, each with its own en-suite shower room for added comfort. Outside, your dogs can run freely and safely in the private enclosed garden provides a lovely, secure space where your dog can potter about while you sip morning coffee while absorbing the gorgeous green views. You’ll be spoilt for choice for activities, with the sandy shores of Winchelsea and Camber Sands just 4.5 miles away (check dog restrictions). Take a leisurely stroll through Rye Harbour Nature Reserve (3.5 miles) to spot wildlife or explore the historic grounds of Camber Castle (4 miles), built by Henry VIII (dogs on short leads welcome). The famous battlefield at Battle Abbey (16 miles) offers a fascinating glimpse into history, before a slap-up meal in one of many country pubs.
