Get the whole gang together at this characterful farmhouse in the serene hamlet of Llanfilo. Sleeping 11 people across six bedrooms and welcoming three canine companions, it’s the ideal retreat for large families or groups of friends. Spend your days strolling along the scenic trails at Llangorse Lake with your dogs, and perhaps rent a pup-friendly boat. In the evening, come home to the cottage’s lawned garden to fire up the BBQ and savour an al fresco meal.
From the private parking area (there’s room for six cars), head towards this delightful period cottage. Step inside and you’ll notice the inviting atmosphere and rich, historic features. To your right, four welcoming reception rooms await – a games room with an open fire, a comfortable living room with a corner fireplace and garden access, a spacious dining room, and a playroom/office. Make yourself at home in the living room before cooking up a storm in the open-plan kitchen/diner – a beautiful space that boasts flagstone floors, exposed beams and a roaring open fire. Gather to eat indoors or head out to the patio, fire up the BBQ and dine alfresco. Afterwards, return to the living room and let tired dogs doze beside the fire. Completing the ground floor is a well-equipped family bathroom. At the end of each day, head upstairs and choose from six welcoming bedrooms – a king-size room, three doubles, a twin room and a cosy single. Serving the bedrooms are two en-suite bathrooms and a Jack and Jill bathroom.
