Set in a convenient spot between Bodmin Moor and the south coast of Cornwall, this superb retreat makes a fabulous hideaway for larger families and groups of friends discovering the region’s breathtaking countryside and gorgeous beaches. Offering colourful, spacious and welcoming accommodation for up to ten guests, the beautiful property also has ample space for four pup pals to tag along for breathtaking walks through the stunning surroundings. With a wealth of features including a hot tub, wood burner, free-standing bath and games room, this imaginatively updated residence provides an elegant and engaging backdrop to an unforgettable holiday.

The property has a sleek, inviting lounge with a Smart TV, wood burner and ample seating, with a few steps then leading down into a spacious open-plan kitchen/diner. This colourful room has a main dining table and chic breakfast island, as well as a glass floor looking down into the cellar below. Four bedrooms are upstairs: two are en-suite, including a stylish super-king-size room with a lovely balcony. This floor also features a stunning marble bathroom with a beautiful freestanding bath. The final en-suite super-king-size bedroom can be found in the separate annexe, alongside a games room where you can play pool and table tennis. Outside, the generous wraparound lawn has ample space for pets to roam and play. There’s also a relaxing hot tub, BBQ, multiple seating areas and an outdoor kitchen and bar. Private parking is available for five cars.

Bodmin Moor is to the north (10 miles), offering wonderful walking trails to explore with your hounds. Dogs are also welcome at attractions such as The Cornish Maize Maze, Port Eliot Gardens and Adrenalin Quarry, all within 12 miles. For a day by the sea, there are beautiful dog-friendly beaches at Hannafore, Plaidy and Seaton (all within 8.5 miles).

Amazing large space to stay , fantastic games room , love the secret door to ensuit and walking wardrobe in master bedroom, great location lovely and quite, only down side was grass had not been cut and no hair dryer

Hot tub needs to be checked daily when on a weeks visit this is always gone at other properties we have stayed. Fridge up in bbq area would be good , and keep grass and flower beds maintained. Make sure cleaners are doing their job properly they have 6 hours between lets. Make sure handsoaps in bathrooms are kept full or do not put them there if thRead moreey are not going to be. This a great house for a family get together. Although not the best for older person or poor mobility as garden on two levels.Great parking . Loved the long dining table , where everyone can sit round. Big bedrooms, The games room in the annex great for family competitions. . The dogs were very happy and soon negotiated the garden levels. Hot tuRead moreb good and the BBQ kitchen would be well used on warm summer days. . Kitchen was great, with a really good oven and well equipped. It is a great base for discovering Cornwall and great walks and beaches were the family and dogs had a great time. But near to Plymouth as well. We had a really lovely stay. Hide

The property is very nice and spacious, with comfortable furniture and in a good location. The owners were quick to respond to queries and problems and attended to sort out issues even though it was Christmas. We appreciated the general cleanliness, the good quality bed linen and the welcome basket on arrival. A great location to stay and travel out from, plenty of room in the main house, great bedrooms (master balcony bedroom - excellent with walk-in wardrobe and en-suite), good games room, and safe off road parking

This property is one too avoid. U .nsafe, unclean and on poor maintenance state. Garden is not secure for pets and has unprotected drops of over 1 metre. This property was so bad that I complained to the property manager 3 times during our week at the property. I have raised a formal complaint to booking.com and have not heard anything at all.
