An absolute gem. A peaceful home from home which felt immediately welcoming and put us completely at ease. We loved the personal touches which raised the Nest above your average holiday property. We had a wonderful stay at The Nest! The little house is extremely pretty, with quality, tasteful furnishing, fittings and everything one could need equipment wise. It is light, bright and airy. The owners were very welcoming, friendly and helpful without being intrusive. A lovely basket of treats was provided for our arrival. The house is in a quiet, peaceful country setting, surrounded by fields and horses, and the sound of bird song. Lots of bridlepaths for walks straight out of the door. We also enjoyed outings to very nearby Clare, Long Melford, Sudbury and Lavenham with their amazing Medieval architecture and history. Ely and its fabulous cathedral is just an hours drive away. I selected this cottage for its out of the way client location and it certainly fulfilled my expectations. On arrival I was greeted with a wonderful basket of essentials and a few little luxuries, the kitchen is well stocked with equipment and I found a lovely bakery in Sudbury that did amazing bread. During the day with the door open all you can hRead moreear is the wild birds and at night glorious silence. Probably one of the most relaxing environments to ease a busy life. The Nest was absolutely perfect. The bed and the pillows were most comfortable. The bathroom was very good with a marvellous powerful shower with very hot water. This lovely little apartment is a real find, nestled in a beautiful peaceful area on the edge of a lovely little village and close to the beautiful town of Clare with its ancient houses, castle and country park. The apartment is of a high standard, extremely comfortable with some lovely little touches giving you all you need for your stay. This property is INCREDIBLE!! I could not recommend it enough. My husband and I stayed here last year (2024), and after an amazing experience, we stayed again this year (2025). We will stay here as much as we can in years to come. It boasts all the charm and crisp air of the English Countryside. The gardens of the property are extensive and immRead moreaculate. It is nestled in the quaint village of Hundon and it could not be more picturesque. Horses playing, ducks swimming around the duck pond, lovely flowers everywhere on a large property. As for the space it is very cozy and comfortable. Everything you need and more is provided. The internet is very fast. The shower has good pressure and endless hot water. The pillows and linens are of high quality, as my husband and I are a bit snobbish in this area, and the space is very elegant and relaxing. It would be a great retreat for a writer or artist to have peace and creative inspiration. My husband and I give this property 5 stars and recommend it to all! Hide

The cottage was very clean and comfortable, It was very well equipped with every thing you could need. The bed and pillows are comfortable, a nice welcome pack awaits you when you arrive, the owner and neighbours are pleasant and accommodating We enjoyed our stay
