This charming bungalow sits on the edge of Briston’s village green, 9 miles from the North Norfolk coast. The property welcomes four guests and one hound and makes a great base for couples and small families. There are some lovely dog walks to enjoy in and around the village, a welcoming village pub and a wonderful selection of local shops. Head home after a day spent exploring and cosy up around the cracking wood burner.

The single-level, rural retreat boasts a warm welcome thanks to its quaint, country cottage decor. Large bay windows let in plenty of natural light and frame leafy views of the garden. After a day of adventure with your waggy-tailed pal, get cosy in the lounge in front of the wood burner with your favourite film on the TV. The separate, compact kitchen has been carefully designed to include all the essentials for a self-catering holiday and opens onto a spacious dining room where you can share mealtimes together. This is a great room for the hound to set up camp, with hard flooring and direct access to the patio garden. Both bedrooms have been decorated in calming, natural tones and share a refreshing family bathroom. The bungalow has a choice of outdoor spaces: to the rear is a small courtyard with furniture for al fresco dining, and to the front is a large, enclosed lawn where Fido can enjoy a game of fetch. There is private parking for three cars on the driveway.

The cottage is perfectly placed for exploring Norfolk’s north coast and popular seaside resorts such as Sheringham (11 miles) and Cromer (13 miles). Norfolk has some fantastic, paw-friendly beaches including Brancaster, Holkham, and East Runton (all within 25 miles). A beautiful cosy cottage with comfortable beds and spacious rooms in an excellent location for touring the area. The enclosed garden and proximity to the village green was an added bonus for our dogs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Nice quiet location, great for walking the dog on village green, the Explorer bar which is 6 minutes walk does not do food, cottage well equipped with utensils and cutlery, the things that let it down is the comfort, sofas are so uncomfortable you sit in them and your knees are level with your chest, the double bed is so small feet stick through meRead moretal end, if you cough bounces bad like sleeping on a bouncy castle, hardly slept all week, I have had to go to chiropractor today to sort my back out you have to be quick having a shower as it goes cold fast, the cottage could do with a a vacume cleaner to use only a broom and dust pan and brush available, the rear courtyard could do with a good weeding! Due to all this would only give it 6 out of 10 Hide
