Cottage position is lovely, nice and quiet. A great welcome pack, much appreciated. Garden great for dogs (provided you can recall them, as it is not fenced off). Lovely cafe - Clifftop at Overstrand. The local Beach Hut cafe also very good value and does a great breakfast!

Another fabulous long weekend stay at Oak Barn. Home from home, all the comforts you need to make your stay a good one. Wild life watching through the large open plan rooms, weasels, pheasant and muntjac were on our viewing list this time. Definitely our favourite place to stay when we venture to Norfolk.

Lovely property and a great location to explore Norfolk. The property was lovely and clean and the kitchen/dining area was lovely and spacious with beautiful views of the countryside. The Gunton Arms and The Suffield Arms are great pubs and only a short drive from the property. A real gem!

We were made to feel welcome even before our arrival. A direction video was sent from Jon and Joanne, very useful. On arrival at Oak Barn, the lamps were lit and we felt instantly at home. The property is spotless and comfortable. The welcome pack included dog treats and tennis balls for our two furry visitors . As a fellow Aga user, I loved the mRead moreodern Aga and dinner was rustled up in a jiffy. Fridge and freezer more than ample. Views across the fields were much enhanced by the visitors, a fox, deer and multiple pheasants. Three generations stayed for a long weekend, with the youngest sharing the mezzanine level, ourselves and Granny the bedrooms. Bathrooms are warm and plenty of towels, hanging space in wardrobes. Bed linen, good quality and beds very comfortable. All in all, we will be booking again with the other half of our family. Hide

We had a perfect stay at Oak Barn. Everything had been thought of even a welcome hamper and treats for our dogs. We couldnt have asked for more, we even spotted some Pheasants and Muntjac deer during our stay. The local Thai takeaway is also great as is the Gunton Arms for dinner.

Lovely location & beautiful house with large garden. Excellent communication re: directions. No dishwasher was not ideal at all, no microwave annoying but bearable. Beautiful barn conversion, loved the openness, the calmness and the peace. Felt so homely. We enjoyed our stay at Oak Barn and found lots to do in the local area. Our only reservation was the access to the mezzanine bedroom which was much steeper and higher than we had anticipated.

We had a great stay. The barn is beautiful, well decorated and furnished (just like the pictures) with all the basics you need. On arrival there were two dog bowls full of water, dog toys and treats and a lovely hamper with some bits for us humans to enjoy. The owners were incredibly helpful and really want you to enjoy your time at the barn. The bRead morearn itself has a wonderful enclosed garden which the dogs and children had fun exploring and there are stunning views across farmland, we saw deer on two occasions. It is a short walk (on footpaths) to the centre of the village and a lovely sandy beach. There is a golf course nearby and so many things to see and do all within a short drive. It could not be better located. I would highly recommend staying here and would love to return again in the future. Hide

What a fabulous house! We had a week here with 6 adults and 2 dogs and loved it. The downstairs space is great with 3 different table and chair areas and a large sitting room, all open plan. The large windows at the back of the house give great views onto the garden and fields beyond. The garden goes all around the house which was great for the dogRead mores.
