Leave no stick unfetched on the marvellous Isle of Wight, enjoying a peaceful getaway with your beloved friends and family – four-pawed pals included, of course. This impeccable, pet-friendly place offers contemporary styling and an immense sense of spaciousness, in total hosting six guests and one doggo. Man’s best friend is invited to lead the way to adventure in the vicinity, sniffing out a route through country roads and along to the quaint, quintessentially English village of Godshill (2.5 miles) or towards the rugged beauty of the island’s coastline (4 miles).
As you approach the property, you’ll notice resident horses live on this farm site, so be sure to keep Rover on a lead until you’re settled inside. From here, your furry friend can rule the roost, choosing a cosy corner to position their bed and blanket in whilst you unwind in the large lounge/kitchen/diner. Let pup drift off with dreams of walkies whilst you put your feet up in front of the Smart TV. Along the hallway, three magnificent bedrooms and one handsome bathroom complete the property. Outside, a large, private garden is furnished to allow you to unwind outdoors, although it is unenclosed, so care should be taken with your pet. Private parking is available for two cars.
There’s so much scenery to go barking mad for on the Isle of Wight, so lace up, step out and get exploring. With tennis balls and dog treats packed up, move towards the coastal path and discover the undisturbed Rocken End Beach (4 miles) or the better-known Steephill Cove Beach (5 miles), welcoming dogs all year round. In the opposite direction, set off walking around Chillerton Down (6.5 miles), a vast green swathe of downland and wooded valleys with circular walks and awe-inspiring views to behold.
