Take the passenger ferry across the river to the quaint seaside village of Shaldon with its traditional village green and pubs. Browse Teignmouth’s independent shops and dine out with a variety of cafes, restaurants, take aways and pubs all within a level stroll away. Venture 10 miles to Dartmoor and spend the day exploring the beautiful landscapes of the National Park, or just 5 miles to Torquay also known as the English Riviera. The historic Cathedral city of Exeter is just 30 minutes away by car or train.

If you are bringing your own small boat or kayak, by prior arrangement with the owner you can make use of their mooring trot (at guests own risk). Private parking for one small car is available on the forecourt, and there are also pay and display cars parks close by.
