After parking directly outside the cottage, you’ll enter via the handy utility area where you can leave coats, shoes and those sandy dog towels. The heart of the home is the characterful kitchen, where exposed stonework and a cosy fire create a welcoming and rustic atmosphere. Relax as a group in the spacious lounge/dining room, which has comfortable seating, a wood burner to keep your skin and fur warm – and even a book swap area where you may just find your next big read. Upstairs, there’s a king-size bedroom with lovely countryside views to wake up to, along with a twin room. A modern and roomy bathroom completes the upper floor. In good weather, it’s a treat to kick back with your pets in the rear garden, which includes an elevated terrace that’s perfect for al fresco dining. The enclosed front patio also provides a sunny spot to relax with your morning coffee. Your dogs will love the secure space to sniff and explore. There is private parking for two cars in tandem arrangement.
The peninsula is renowned for its breathtaking cliffs, tranquil woodlands and pristine beaches which you can sniff out with your beloved animals. The scenic harbour town of St Mawes is around 8 miles away, where you can catch a foot ferry to Falmouth, or head to the picturesque village of Mevagissey (7.5 miles). Join the South West Coast Path (1 mile) for tail-waggingly good strolls taking in delightful scenery, following along to Kiberick Cove (1.5 miles) or the Roseland Coast Viewpoint (2 miles). At St Anthony Head (8.5 miles), you can absorb fabulous views overlooking Falmouth Harbour.
