Rover’s tail won’t stop wagging from the moment you arrive at this delightful, dog-friendly destination. Your two-bedroom cottage sleeps four humans, as well as their paw-some pet, and sits in some 12 acres of glorious parkland that is sheer heaven for pups. Situated on the fringes of Cadnam, 9.5 miles from Southampton, the bolthole also nestles within the New Forest National Park, with its myriad of marvellous dog walks.
Take a step up and into this single-storey home-from-home with Rover hard at your heel. Take him into the kitchen/diner, which will become the hub of your holiday home during your stay. Top up his water bowl from the cleverly concealed sink and dish up his dinner while you prepare fresh coffee from the machine. There is a microwave to help you prepare light meals and snacks for the people in your party too and a breakfast bar table with stools, where you can enjoy your food. Settle Rover for the night in here then make your way through to the sumptuous, king-size bedroom for your own superb sleep. This room benefits from a stylish en-suite bathroom where you can soak in steaming bubbles after your long walks. Take Rover to run beside the picturesque lake early in the morning. Head off for longer explorations during the day. Play tennis, enjoy the hot tub or make the most of the other shared facilities later in the afternoon. There is ample on-site parking.
Visit Exbury Gardens, 14 miles away, where Rover is very welcome to join you. Calshot Beach, 16 miles away, is a great place for sea-loving dogs to play freely on the shingle or in the shallows at any time of year.
