Nourish your soul with endless walks in the Cumbrian countryside and the unbeatable company of man’s best friend. You’ll feel like a top dog after a rejuvenating stay in this detached holiday home, a place with incredible views and a large garden where Rover can play whilst you take a dip in the hot tub. Sleeping two guests and one pup, the property lends itself perfectly to couples who wouldn’t dream of going away without their furry friend in tow. Sit beneath high, vaulted ceilings in the open-plan living area, settling onto the comfortable sofa with Fido curled up lovingly by your side. When it’s time for bed, leave your sleeping dog to lie right here and head into the king-size bedroom. With a four-poster bed and Smart TV, this is a place for undisturbed relaxation. French doors here offer incredible views and access to the large, enclosed garden. Completing the property is a shower room that can be accessed from the main living area.

Leave no stick unfetched in the breathtaking countryside of the northwest, letting Rover lead the way through patchwork fields and meandering footpaths. Follow the River Lune up to Kirkby Lonsdale (4 miles), a local town on the edge of the Dales. This quintessentially Yorkshire location offers plenty of beauty spots to admire, including Ruskin’s View and the Devil’s Bridge.
