The entrance hall to this light-filled property leads along to a fresh and inviting U-shaped open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, making an ideal space for you all to relax. The lounge is colourful and airy, with a Smart TV, plenty of seating, a central wood burner and lovely wall-length windows allowing light to flood in. There’s a delightful dining table at the heart of the space before you head round into the fully equipped kitchen. Two bright and spacious bedrooms are upstairs, each with a TV: there’s an elegant king-size room with an en-suite shower room, and a charming twin with an invigorating en-suite bathroom. Heading outside, the furnished front courtyard looks out towards the neighbouring cottages. A more private patio can be found via the lounge’s French doors. This peaceful space has ample seating, perfect for dining alfresco with your pets lazing in the sun. Allocated parking is available for two cars.

The property lies just outside Crakehall (1 mile) and Bedale (3 miles), ideally situated for dogs and their owners exploring the North York Moors, Nidderdale and the Yorkshire Dales, all within 17 miles. The area has a wealth of pet-friendly attractions and landmarks including the Wensleydale Railway, Thorp Perrow, Jervaulx Abbey and the parkland at Constable Burton Hall and Grounds, all within 10 miles.

Very comfortable, kitchen well supplied with utensils, nice to have small enclosed garden for dogs and bbq. Lovely to hear the birds singing too

Mr. McCormicks is a fabulous cottage for up to 4 people on this small complex. It provides everything you need for a comfortable stay. We loved our separate ensures and the convenient lavatory downstairs. The kitchen was specious and we had lovely dining experiences together at the round table. and the washing up was done by the dishwasher. There Read morewas ample space in the living room and TVs in the bedrooms too if you wanted to have your own space. The nightlights in the hall were thoughtful. We loved the flagstone floors and the big windows in the open plan living area. We did not use the barbecue provided, but it looked new and clean. We all enjoyed our visit - 4 adults in their late 50s and mid 60s. Hide

Mr McCormicks is a wonderful cottage with enough room for 4 people and a dog, perhaps 2 even. The enclosed rear yard and open front courtyard are perfect to chase or avoid the sun and the whole site is immaculate. The owner doesn't charge for dogs, so well worth considering booking with them as it will save you money. We will definitely be Read moreback. Hide

The cottage was exellent, loads of space inside and out. Great patio area back and front, ideall for BBQ,WHICH IS SUPPLIED. The host was very responsive when contacted. I will certainly be returning. The cottage was exactly was exactly as described, very clean on arrival, really warm and comfortable. It was well equipped and there was a plentiful supply of tea, coffee, etc. The coffee pods were particularly welcome as not having one of these machines I dont take these but the machine cam in very handy. Cottage was clean and comfortable but a lot of little niggles took the gloss off. There was no washing up liquid or dish cloth. No hand towel in kitchen and only one tea towel. An extra hand towel in the bedroom was needed. There was only one oven tray. We were cold there was no way to increase the heating temperature, emailed customer care but didRead morent get a response. Hide
