Whitby (3.5 miles) has some beautiful pet-welcoming beaches (with some seasonal restrictions), alongside a choice of fantastic dog-friendly pubs. Further along the coast, dogs are allowed on beautiful beaches such as Robin Hood’s Bay, Stoupe Beck Sands, Kettleness and Staithes, all within 13 miles. Your pets can also join you for a boat trip along the Esk or out to sea, or you can head inland to explore the North York Moors.
