Grab Rover’s lead and roam the dramatic Yorkshire Dales National Park and Nidderdale from this rural retreat in Middlesmoor. Nestled in scenic countryside and sleeping six guests, the three-bedroom cottage is surrounded by wonderful dog walks. The welcoming property is perfect for families or groups of friends and has a courtyard garden where you and Rover can enjoy the fresh air and sunshine together between excursions.
Give muddy paws a good wipe before stepping into the entrance hall where you’ll also find a handy WC. Head on into the lounge, where Rover can flop down for a nap as you sit back and relax on the soft seating. Catch up on your favourite series on the Smart TV or play a game together before contemplating what to cook for your evening meal. Rover will be eager to join you in the kitchen/diner so he can tuck into his meal as you prepare something delicious for everyone else. Open the doors to the enclosed garden on fine days so he can pad outside as you dine at the table. When day turns to night, settle him in his bed then climb the stairs to the first floor where your own rooms are located. These include two king-size bedrooms, one with an en-suite shower room, plus a twin room with zip-and-link beds (which can be made up as a king-size when requested at time of booking). The refreshing family bathroom is also located on this floor. Spill out into the courtyard garden with Rover at every opportunity and gaze out across the scenic Dales. There is off-road parking for two cars.
Take Rover with you to wander a section of the Nidderdale Way, which runs for over 50 miles and passes through the village. Have fun exploring How Stean Gorge (1 mile) where your pal is welcome to join you. The small market town of Pateley Bridge is just 7.5 miles away.
