This luxurious Norfolk retreat is perfect for couples, families, and their four-legged friends and comes complete with a roaring open fire that Rover is sure to adore as well as a fully enclosed private garden and even your very own hot tub! Set in the tranquil village of Norton Subcourse, the house is ideally positioned for exploring nearby trails with your canine companion and enjoying the Norfolk countryside.

Inside, the ground floor combines a lounge/kitchen/diner, creating a sociable living space for all. Relax in the lounge on chilly nights, where an open fire and Smart TV invite everyone to put their feet up and warm chilly paws. The kitchen is well equipped for cooking family meals, while the attractive family bathroom is also on this floor. The cottage-style stairs lead to two charming bedrooms – a calming king-size room with soft, luxurious furnishings and a bunk-bed room perfect for children. French doors open onto a patio with comfortable rattan seating, ideal for morning coffee while your pup explores the secure space. A BBQ makes al fresco dining easy, and the large lawn area is perfect for a game of fetch or a lazy sunbathe. The four-person hot tub is ready and waiting for a relaxing soak after a day of exploration. Private parking for one car is available.

Just 1 mile away, Thurlton has a dog-friendly pub and a shop for essentials, while Loddon (4 miles) offers boat trips on the Broads, where well-behaved hounds are welcome on board. For a day out at the coast, Great Yarmouth’s beaches and amusements (12 miles) provide a classic seaside experience, and the sandy shores of Lowestoft are only 15 miles away, both of which have designated year-round zones for playful pups to roam. With its historic Norman castle and pet-friendly cafes and pubs, Norwich is also within easy reach, 15 miles from home.

We had such a lovely weekend at church cottage. Great location for the beach and the broads (and the pub!), as well as a gorgeous local vineyard about 25 mins away (Flint). Fully enclosed garden for our large dog Winnie who had a lovely time exploring. The house is lovely with lots of thoughtful touches and well equipped throughout. Note that the sRead moretairs are steep as you may expect with this type of property. There is a toilet upstairs so no need to navigate in the dark! Overall a lovely relaxing stay, brilliant house and location and lovely owners. Hide

The cottage was beautiful, tastefully decorated and all the gardens were immaculate. Lovely welcome from the owner and welcome basket was very generous. Lovely village location and the local pub food was excellent and the pub was very dog friendly, We very much hope to return.
