Rock Cottage provided a wonderful base for exploring Somerset. Just a short walk from the Castle and pub and lots of great walks for the dog. The cottage is very well equipped with everything you could possibly need. Frome is on the doorstep and Wells, Lacock, Glastonbury and Longleat are all within a short drive.

Rock Cottage is really warm and inviting. It is very well equipped for all ages, especially the kitchen. We felt very at home. The castle, pub, shop and walks are all close by and it is very central for further sightseeing places and shopping towns.

This was a gorgeous cottage with everything we could possibly need provided. We felt like we had our very own castle at the back door! Everything was clean and the beds incredibly comfortable. It was so centrally located that we visited Bath, Longleat, Wells, Cheddar Gorge, Salisbury. A beautiful cafe across the lane, a small supermarket round thRead moree corner and a huge Sainsburys a short drive away meant that we certainly did not starve - this is not to mention all the wonderful farm shops around waiting to be discovered. The owners had also decorated for Christmas which was lovely. They even had a personalised map of the area showing all the walking trails nearby. Only thing to note is that the stairs were quite steep so be aware if access is an issue. A perfect location for a bunch of Australians wanting an English holiday. Thank you so much! Hide

Lovely cottage in idyllic position. Comfortable, great matresses, super clean, secure garden for our dog. It's without doubt the best equipped kitchen we've ever experienced and we've experienced alot. Plethora of games and puzzles to keep you amused in the evenings or a wet day. Perfect location to our favourite places, Glastonbury, Wells and FromRead moree. The local gastro pub is outstanding and the Spar shop is a godsend for that item you forgot. Icing on the cake, a castle with a most behind the property. Hide
