With a garden, an open-plan layout and cosy country-style interiors, this charming one-bed cottage is perfect for a romantic escape with your partner and beloved canine companion. Located in rural Norfolk, your four-legged friend will love the nearby walking trails through the Broads National Park and along the Norfolk coast. After an afternoon at the surrounding quaint market towns, relax in the stylish yet characterful single-story property.

Step inside and walk through the hallway into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner with an exposed brick feature wall, a wooden beamed ceiling and a wooden floor. Tones of blue fill the kitchen area with a ‘U’-shaped fitted unit beneath low-hanging contemporary lighting. Move past the wooden dining table through the open-top room divider into the rustic blue and wooden lounge area with a plump sofa beside a stylish floor lamp and wide glass patio doors. Back through the hallway is a boutique-style king-size bedroom and a shower room. Outside, you’ll find an enclosed courtyard garden with furniture. There is private parking for two cars.

While staying on the outskirts of Swannington village, you’ll be within 0.5 miles of the historical village water pump and a garden centre. Take Fido for a stroll around the Layfields Lakes (2.5 miles) and stop for a tipple at the distillery nearby. Visit the village of Lyng to dine at the traditional pub after a day of water-based activities on the Norfolk Lakes (6 miles). Pack a picnic and spend a day at The Broads National Park (19 miles). You’ll also be within reach of the Norfolk coast where you can explore the seaside town of Sheringham (19.5 miles) or go for a dip at the dog-friendly Weybourne Beach (20.5 miles).

This was the most restful, peaceful and perfect accommodation I have experienced. Charlie is a wonderful host; every little detail for a romantic stay is covered. I loved it!

A home from home gem! Every aspect of our stay had been thoroughly thought out to make a truly relaxing stay. Communication from Charlie was spot on & helped us feel extremely well looked after.

We have a lovely stay at the cottage. It was very cosy and comfortable. Beautiful grounds and great location. The owners well very helpful too. Would definitely recommend to family and friends. Came home feeling very relaxed and chilled out.

Beautiful cottage in lovely grounds that was ideal for walking our dog. The Coach House was very clean and had everything we would expect of a 5 star hotel. The kitchen was fully equipment and the owners were so welcoming and kind. Would definitely stay here again.

The Coach House is situated in a lovely mature woodland garden which felt like being in a parkland. We had everything we needed and were cosy and comfortable. Sammy and Charles, the owners, were very friendly and helpful. The cottage is very well situated for visits to Norwich (Park & Ride is so easy) and attractions like Blickling Hall and GressenRead morehall Farm and Workhouse are within easy reach, Overall a first rate cottage.
