Set in the heart of Swynnerton, this charming thatched cottage blends tradition and comfort, making it ideal for small families or groups of friends with their furry companions. Sleeping four guests across two inviting bedrooms, it’s a wonderful countryside base for exploring Staffordshire’s natural beauty and is complemented by a wrap-around garden that has plenty of space for playful pups to bound around.

Inside, the original beams and low ceilings create a cosy atmosphere. Unwind in the open-plan lounge/diner, or head into the contemporary kitchen to prepare a hearty meal for your entire pack. Gather around the oak dining table to share stories from the day, before settling in the lounge for an evening of TV or games with Rover curled at your feet. Upstairs, you’ll find two comfortable bedrooms – a double and a twin, both with plenty of rustic character – while a chic family shower room is conveniently located downstairs. In the mornings, enjoy your coffee in the enclosed garden while your four-legged friend explores safely. Private off-road parking for one car is available.

Stroll the scenic trails at Barlaston Downs (4 miles), which offer expansive views of the Long Mynd, Mow Cop Castle, and Clee Hills – perfect for adventurous walkers and curious canines alike. For a peaceful day out, visit the landscaped gardens at Trentham (4.5 miles), with picturesque lakeside walks and a popular maze.
