Large, comfortable house suitable for our large family gathering. It has everything you would need including a large, well equipped kitchen, dining room which can accommodate all guests and a large living room with plenty of seating. The hot tub was well-used during our stay! All but three of the 9 bedrooms have en-suites. The house is next to theRead more railway station and handy for visits to Filey, Scarborough and Bridlington. Hunmanby has all the shops you would need including a nice deli and several pubs. All in all a great place to stay and we thoroughly enjoyed our week there. Hide

When we arrived, there was no heating or hot water. However the owner came out straight away and resolved these problems very quickly with the attendance of an engineer. After that, no problems at all, with a cosy house and hot, hot showers. The size of the house is great for a big family gathering, with lots of space to eat and play games and jRead moreigsaws round a BIG dining table, and lots of space to chill in the sitting room. The hot tub was great for the younger members of the family, and the garden was good for the dog. Great location, if you like travelling by train, but there is ample parking for family members, and roads not overly busy for travelling by car to nearby towns and beaches. We enjoyed our holiday at Parkers Hill very much. Hide

We rented the house for a 75th birthday celebration, including a Murder Mystery party. This is a fantastic house for accommodating extended family or large groups of friends comfortably. There was plenty of room to all sit together, or spread out in smaller groups, and the dining table is huge. Although there was no central heating on arrival (colRead mored and rainy November) this was sorted out the next day, with the owner kindly bringing extra fuel for the wood burner so we had one warm room! The hot tub was great for those who braved the elements! Hide

We had a wonderful stay at Parkers Hill. Plenty of space for all the family and good facilities. The house is in an excellent location close to the lovely beaches and a short journey to Scarborough. I would definitely recommend to friends.

Excellent cottage for our big group. Nice big space and good bedroom to bathroom ratio. Some minor issues but the owners sorted them very quickly. New cottage so I am sure they will refine a few bits and make this a great let

Flooring in living room buckled, place really cold - had to buy fire wood to keep Mother warm, en-suites basic, bins full when we arrived and part of a stale cake left in cupboard. Hot tub fantastic- saved the place.
