Lose yourself in tail-wagging views across the idyllic Llyn Peninsula from almost every window of this rural retreat that offers couples who never leave the house without their canine companion a truly peaceful escape.

Bursting with country cottage features, including exposed beams, a high vaulted ceiling and whitewashed stone walls, the open-plan lounge/kitchen/dining/sleeping layout of this beautiful barn conversion boasts a truly light and airy ambience that beckons weary walking toes and paws to relax. Leave your four-pawed pal to curl up beside the warmth of the roaring wood burner as you whip up some tasty treats with your local produce before unwinding on the plush sofa; before sundown, throw open the front door to enjoy the soothing whistle of the evening breeze. When it''s time to pause from chasing your tail, the sumptuously soft linens of the double bed ensure a dreamy slumber. A well-appointed en-suite shower room completes the interior. Outside, make the most of your uninterrupted rolling countryside vistas by dining alfresco on the enclosed patio as little paws doze at your feet. Guests will also find private parking for one car.

This scenic spot at the heart of the Llyn Peninsula is a haven for keen outdoor explorers; you’ll find plenty of stick-throwing opportunities around the surrounding hills and some wonderful walks, including the famous Melin Foel (Jampot Hill) overlooking Mynytho (8 miles). Sniff out some wonderful local produce at the vibrant market town of Pwllheli (3 miles), home to a marina and plenty of shops and restaurants, or treat your pup to an afternoon of practising the doggy paddle at the sandy stretches of Llanbedrog Beach (7 miles) or Porth Neigwl Beach (11.5 miles). The instructions to the cottage were good. It was delightful. Very clean and everything had been thought of to make it so impressive. We loved the location too, near some fantastic beaches, castles and places to visit. We had never been to North Wales before and were not disappointed in any way. We also had fantastic weather.
