There’s luxury for Rover too, with the warming welcome of the open fire, creating the ideal snooze spot.

A Grade II-listed cottage with exceptional, eclectic design features throughout, this home will set tails wagging from the moment you arrive. Let your excited pups find their favourite spot in the lounge, a space with comfy seating, a Smart TV, and an open fire. The dining room/conservatory offers a second place for your pack to unwind, ideally over a delicious meal prepared in the adjacent, well-appointed kitchen. At the end of each busy day away, retire to a choice of three bedrooms – two king-size rooms and a cosy double bedroom. Completing the interior is a well-equipped family bathroom and a separate wet room. Outside, things get truly indulgent, with a hot tub and private spa ready to ease you into a relaxed state at the end of each day. The courtyard garden is entirely enclosed, so you can unwind knowing the dogs are safely secured. Parking is on-street or in the surrounding public car parks, subject to availability.

Earn that relaxation time with a selection of long, rewarding dog walks in the vast North Yorkshire countryside. The property is also close to the stunning Swaledale – follow the River Swale to explore beauty spots like Gunnerside (15.5 miles) and Kisdon Force (20.5 miles).

A comfortable cottage at the bottom of a hill if you find walking difficult this is not the cottage for you. Hot tub is a great addition. Plenty of space to get comfy in.

We enjoyed our stay at the Spa on the Green. It has 2 comfortable double rooms and 1 very small double which is a squash for 2 adults therefore we didnt have a good sleep - hence the acceptable score for comfort. The hot tub, plunge bucket and sauna are a great addition. The sauna room is very comfortable and the sauna heats up very quick. Read more The location is great if youre fit and into walking. Theres some lovely walks on the door step. Unfortunately one of our party could not manage the very steep banks - which you have to climb if youre eating out or having a drink - therefore they had to use a taxi every time we went out. Youll see a defibrillator every few hundred yards! If youre reasonably fit and youre a party of 5 Id recommend. Hide

What a beautiful cottage. Facilities were great, the courtyard is a little sun trap and the hot tub and sauna were a fab treat. Even the plunge bucket wasnt bad for a refresh

The property was in a great location to explore and for great walks. The cleanliness was excellent and beautifully decorated. Would highly recommend. The hosts were great.

Really comfortable cottage in a great location close to the town. Fabulously decorated and the spa facilities were a great addition to have.
