The second floor comprises another king-size bedroom with a charming, sloped ceiling and skylight windows. From sunrise to sunset, playful pups will go mutts sniffing around the enclosed garden which features a lovely lawn, well-landscaped greenery and a patio perfect for al fresco dining. The property also boasts ample parking spaces on the driveway.

Its rich Gothic culture and maze of cobbled streets lined with local shops and cafes, give Whitby an eclectic yet bustling atmosphere that you’ll be barking mad not to fall in love with. Race your canine companion up the iconic 199 Whitby Abbey steps (2 miles) to be rewarded with panoramic views over the ruins of the gothic Abbey and coastline beyond. Take the lead to peruse the bustling harbour (2 miles) and sniff out the catch of the day before treating your pup to an afternoon chasing the tide along the gorgeous sandy stretch of Whitby Beach half a mile away.

A really lovely well maintained house, well equipped, kitchen, though oven hard to manage, lovely fluffy towels & very comfy beds. Parking a little difficult, a tight squeeze for 2 cars, & the house is situated by a busy roundabout, at the top of a steep hill into the town centre , a challenging walk back !Plenty of places to eat , most dog friendRead morely, also the beach, which ours loved, a swimming dog ! , Hide

Possibly the best holiday house we've booked. NB there is an American style fridge/freezer & a tumble dryer which are not mentioned on the website's description. Only a short walk to the promenade but the beach at Whitby is difficult to reach if you have mobility problems. Also the beach nearest the house is not dog friendly in summer. Sandsend is Read morea short drive away and has a dog friendly part of the beach. There is a stop for the open top tour buses outside the leisure centre 5 -10 minutes from the house. The garden is very secure for dogs. We parked 3 cars but all quite small. Hide

Great situation and lovely house. Lacks personal touches such as somewhere to hang clothes, not enough comfy seats for full occupancy, no soap or shower gel etc.

What a stunning property with great amenities. Everything was there we needed for self-catering holiday. Great location quiet neighbourhood. Ample parking for 2 cars. Beds really comfortable. Short walk to the beach and town centre. Dog friendly would def stay in this property again.
