Enjoy a romantic getaway in the Lincolnshire countryside – and bring your faithful four-legged companion along to join in the fun. Located on a working farm, this renovated barn and smokehouse welcomes two humans and one lucky pup, making it ideal for dog-loving couples and solo travellers. Located midway between the sandy shores of the Lincolnshire coast and the Lincolnshire Wolds National Landscape, you and your top dog have plenty to explore.

Built in the 1800s, this long, brick barn has been beautifully renovated, blending historic features with contemporary furnishings and high-quality appliances. The open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner is the sociable heart of the home. Set on flagstone flooring, it has underfloor heating to keep toes and paws toasty in all weather. There’s a country-style kitchen, a table for two and a snug lounge with a long, plush sofa in front of the TV and an armchair for cosying up with a book or gazing outside. A king-size zip-and-link bed invites a restful night’s sleep and can be made up into twin beds as required, while the shower room promises a new leash of life in the morning. Outside, there’s a patio with outdoor seating for al-fresco meals and drinks and parking for two cars.

Clip on Fido’s lead and set out to explore the walking and cycling routes from your front door, or stroll to nearby Manby (2.5 miles) for lunch or dinner in a dog-friendly pub. With rolling hills, unspoilt countryside, hidden valleys and sleepy stone villages, the Lincolnshire Wolds invites exploration (from 7 miles). In the other direction, the coast offers miles of sandy beaches (with some seasonal dog restrictions near resorts) and the heritage attraction, Tank on the Beach (4 miles).

  • 1 king-size zip-link-bed (can be made up as a twin on request)
  • 1 bathroom with shower, WC and sink
  • Electric oven and hob, American fridge freezer, dishwasher, microwave, soft water filtration on tap
  • Utility area with washing machine

A Perfect Retreat for Pups and People! Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. The accommodation itself was comfortable and well-appointed. We particularly appreciated the cozy bedroom, the modern bathroom with walk-in shower, and a kitchen that was thoughtfully equipped with all the essentials. A huge bonus for us was the secure garden, which our Read morepuppy loved having the freedom to run around in. The cottage boasts a wonderfully secluded and peaceful location, yet it's incredibly convenient for exploring. With national parks, picturesque woodland walks, and beautiful beaches just a stone's throw away, we had endless opportunities to tire out our energetic pup. After our adventures, the good-sized hot tub was the perfect spot to unwind and relax in the evenings. The owners were delightful friendly and readily available whenever we needed anything. We wholeheartedly recommend this cottage for anyone seeking a serene escape with easy access to nature, especially if you're bringing along a furry friend! Hide

This property is surrounded by fields and wildlife in a very relaxing spot, Duncan the owner is friendly and helpful and respects your privacy if needed, the property is finished to a high standard and is very well equipped, furniture including the bed are very comfortable and the shower is excellent. There is a patio area to the front of the propeRead morerty with table and chairs and hot tub if needed and a small lawn, and a patio area to the side which are all enclosed, useful if you have a dog. The property is 14 minutes by car to the nearest beach, 18 minutes to Mablethorpe where there are major supermarkets and other coastal towns are 20minutes away. We had a lovely week visiting coastal towns and walking coastal footpaths and beach walks and coming back to a comfortable and warm property or sitting outside on the patio with the dog watching the wildlife in this very quiet area of Linconshire. We are already making plans to hopefully return next year. Hide
