This coastal retreat is just 2 miles from the bustling town of Bridlington and less than 1 mile from the sandy shores of the Yorkshire coast. The property welcomes four guests and one hound and is the perfect seaside getaway for both couples and small families. From strolls along the shoreline at Fraisthorpe Beach to remote countryside hikes along the Yorkshire Wolds Way, you and your furry buddy will be spoilt for choice when it comes to walks in the surrounding area.
The contemporary home-away-from-home is warm and inviting, with cosy underfloor heating (which Rover will adore!) and a plethora of creature comforts. The hub of the house is a bright, open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner where you and your furry travel buddy can unwind after a day of adventure. Cook up a storm in the stylish kitchen area and gather at the dining table for a delicious, home-cooked feast. In the evenings, relax on the plump sofa and catch up on all your favourite programmes on the Smart TV. The property has two tastefully decorated bedrooms, and the accommodation is completed by a refreshing shower room. Outside, the shared courtyard has a choice of areas for al fresco dining and sun loungers for soaking up some rays on a summer’s day. There’s also a covered area for outdoor entertaining come rain or shine, a dart board, and toys for the children. The outside space is fully enclosed for your four-legged friend and there are two designated, private parking spaces.
You’ll find plenty to see and do in Bridlington, from exploring the ancient architecture (including the 900-year-old priory) to watching the fishing boats coming and going in the historic harbour. Be sure to sample the local lobster in one of the many seafood restaurants, before blowing away the cobwebs on a windswept dog walk at Flamborough Head (9 miles). There are some fabulous paw-friendly attractions nearby, including the 50-acre parkland at Sewerby Hall and Gardens (6 miles).
