Climb the steps up to the wooden deck surrounding the cottage with Fido at your heel. Usher him into the open-plan lounge/kitchen/diner, where he can wander about while you unpack your groceries. Feed him in the kitchen area then rustle up dinner for everyone else. Call the human members of your party to the table to dine, then join Fido in the lounge space. Lay a fire in the wood burner so he can warm his paws, then let him stretch out on the floor while you watch the Smart TV or listen to music from the comfort of the soft seating. Bid him goodnight before heading off to your bedrooms which are three super-king-size rooms that can be converted to twins by prior agreement, with an additional sofa bed in the third bedroom on request. Walk less than 1 mile to pick up the South West Coast Path and head off in either direction with Fido. Venture 4 miles to Marazion to walk out over the causeway to St Michael’s Mount at low tide.
