Locally, the delightful Lea Gardens (0.5 miles) is fab for morning strolls with your pet. Further afield, history lovers will appreciate Cromford (3.5 miles), known as the birthplace of the Industrial Revolution. Don’t miss, too, Matlock Bath (4 miles), a picturesque town on the edge of the Peak District National Park which is known for its eclectic shops, cafes and amusement arcades. The popular sites of Crich Tramway Village (3 miles) and the Heights of Abraham (4.5 miles) are both accessible with your pets. Carsington Water (9 miles) offers an array of activities such as canoeing, kayaking and paddleboarding.
