The Swallows was a lovely house. The open plan living space and garden worked well with our family of 6 adults and 2 dogs. Tastefully decorated with a seaside theme it felt like we were on holiday. The beach is a very short walk away and is lovely for walks and swimming. Red squirrels were seen running across the garden fence and in the trees opposite the house. Hide

This is a marvelous holiday location. The house I'd fabulous, the beach an easy walk away and plenty to do within the house should the weather be adverse. It's spacious, airy and light. We will be looking to come back!

This house is ideally placed for a family holiday near the beach. We walked down once or twice each day to collect shells, build sand-castles and paddle. The house is perfect for multi-generational holidaying with each room having it's own en-suite and the huge family room at the top of the house for the kids to unwind. The garden even has a sectioRead moren for everyone with an eating area, a bar and sitting area to catch the evening sun and an astro-turf 'football pitch' in the middle. We had a wonderful holiday with Swallows as our base. It is a lovely house and is very well appointed. It is in a smashing location and the best beaches on the island are only a very short walk away. For marks out of 10, we'd give a full 10.
