Absolutely loved it! Clean, spacious yet homely, and really peaceful so slept well. Had everything you might need and lots of lovely extra touches. We had 2 teenage boys with us so thought no tv might cause some groans from them, but it was actually a real positive - they embraced the piano and we spent more quality time together! There are some Read moregreat and quirky pieces of art/furniture which all added interest for us and the shops nearby are really handy! Cant fault it so definitely recommend and would like to stay again Hide

The kitchen, bathroom and toilet were very good. The bedrooms and living room were a bit quirky but we had a good week whilst there, the bus stop was very handy and the local shop and the pub, The Foresters, which were just up the road were very good.

The cottage was roomier than it looked from the outside. We liked the area near the back door where we could put shoes and hang jackets. The kitchen was well equipped and we also appreciated the extra bits in bathroom cupboards. Unfortunately we found the cottage wasnt clean throughout. There was dog hair in kitchen cupboards and in the beds. TheRead more windows in the kitchen were covered in cobwebs and the windowsill in the bathroom was very dirty. The Hoover which we wanted to use to ensure we kept the cottage clean was absolutely full. We would not return for this reason or recommend. Hide

It was a charming property despite the above issues and we would recommend it to others. You should probably mention that there is no TV when you advertise the property.

Cosy cottage with a very rustic vibe. It met our needs and was suitable for us while we were having work done in our house.

Delightful cottage with super enclosed garden for our dogs. Very well appointed with carefully considered amenities included. The cottage has been sensitively renovated and everything works very well making it warm and comfortable. It is expensive but maybe that was because we stayed over Christmas!
