This stylish townhouse is in the small, harbour town of Watchet on the Somerset coast. The property welcomes six guests and two furry pals and is perfect for families and friends seeking a traditional seaside getaway. As well as fabulous coastal walks to explore with the hounds, you’ll also be within 5 miles of Exmoor National Park and the Quantock Hills, both of which offer a huge variety of tracks and trails through remote landscapes.

The three-storey townhouse provides a unique backdrop to your holiday, with vibrant paintwork, beautiful artwork, and a collection of quirky accessories. From the entrance hall, head through to the bright and airy kitchen/diner, where you can rustle up tasty feasts using local ingredients and share family mealtimes at the wooden table next to the window. After a day of adventure with the woofers, relax in the cosy lounge, where you’ll find an array of comfortable seating and a Smart TV. In summer, throw open the patio doors for indoor/outdoor living. On the first floor, discover an inviting king-size bedroom with a Juliet balcony and a delightful bunk bedroom that’s ideal for children. There’s also a contemporary family bathroom on this level. The remaining king-size bedroom is set beneath the eaves on the second floor and boasts far-reaching rooftop views along with an en-suite shower room. Outside, the courtyard garden is equipped with outdoor furniture and a BBQ for al fresco dining. This space is fully enclosed for your waggy-tailed pals. The property has private parking for two cars and is also adjacent to a public car park.

Watchet is full of coastal charm, and offers plenty of opportunities for walking with your furry friends. Enjoy a gentle stroll along the esplanade, potter around the bustling marina, or stride out along the South West Coast Path towards Dunster or Minehead. The rocky beach at Watchet welcomes canine visitors all year and is a popular spot for fossil hunting. Another great, woof-welcoming beach is Blue Anchor Bay, 9.5 miles away, with its sand and shingle shoreline, shallow waters, and fabulous views across to Wales. For an alternative perspective of the Somerset landscape, board the heritage trains of the West Somerset Railway and enjoy a majestic jaunt from Watchet to Minehead.

Perfect location for all amenities. Just needs a few extras in house itself to make it more user friendly.

The cottage is in a great location, near to Quay, shops, arts centre and beach. The place was clean, had everything you needed in the kitchen, and the beds were very comfortable, with super clean bedding. A few good pubs nearby that accept dogs, and plenty of shops as well which is always a bonus. Had a lovely weekend away.

Clean and tidy, mostly well equipped, reasonably comfortable. Enough beds for 6 but not really enough dining or sofa space for 6. Only really suits up to 4 guests. The water pressure is excellent. Great shower! The mattress in the 1st floor double room is very hard. Bring a mattress topper with you. Towels were provided but not enough so bring a feRead morew extra as well as some extra kitchen bin liners. Location is great and Watchet is a lovely harbour town. Lots to see and see in the local area. Beach isn't great (rocky/pebbles) but there are nicer sandy beaches along the coast...Kilve or Minehead. Plenty to see and do. Hide
